A Colectivo19 Project - Based on a continuous ink drawing on a scroll, inspired by the symbolism of alchemy, mythology and cosmology, this short film celebrates the interconnectedness of all beings and elements in the universe. It is an introspective piece that invites us to reflect on our place in the cosmos and the cyclical nature of existence.
About the project
The End Never Ending is an immersive animated short film exploring the eternal cycle of life, death and transformation. Based on a continuous ink drawing made on a fax paper roll, the film preserves the raw, pictorial energy of the original hand-drawn work — transforming its lines into motion to create a symbolic universe in perpetual flow.
Inspired by alchemical symbolism, mythology and cosmology, the narrative begins and ends with the ouroboros — the ancient symbol of life and resurrection — framing a philosophical and visual journey that moves between the divine and the human. A sun proclaiming "We are the resurrection of the dead star." A bottle containing a beating heart. A golden egg reborn as an angel. Gods, dragons, angels and mythical figures in constant transformation — a cosmic dance of creation and destruction.
The film redefines the loop as a narrative tool: not a repetition, but an invitation to reflect on the interconnectedness of all beings and the cyclical nature of existence. A hypnotic, handcrafted work that challenges linear perception and offers a visceral connection to the inner rhythms of life and the universe.
